About ICAB

As part of ICAB's commitment to creating alternative livelihood options for people living in and around critical habitat, ICAB works with several local communities in Tanzania and Uganda to facilitate construction and maintenance of beehives. By providing beekeeping equipment, skills and apiculture knowledge, ICAB has been able to assist local people in producing and harvesting organic quality honey, and other products like propolis and wax, to sell at markets both domestically and internationally

These honeys are produced free of any synthetic chemicals such as pesticides and antibiotics. Bees are capable of flying far away from their hives hunting for pollen, so the areas around organic honey farms must be considered organic. Some of the finest certified organic honey.
